Product Description
A rare and interesting bamboo shrub, it is one of the smallest bamboo plants available.

Dwarf Fern Leaf Bamboo has an odd name, because its leaves are not fern-like at all. As you can see in the photos here on GardenPlantsOnline, its green leaves are blade-shaped and appear in symmetrical arrangements, more like tiny palm leaves or a hibiscus plant. Whatever you want to call it though, this a great plant for Japanese rock gardens, patio containers, ground coverage and courtyard-style designs.

Bamboo is one of the world’s fastest growing plant-types. Traditionally from Asia, its hardiness means it can actually be grown very easily in Britain – visitors to your garden will be surprised and impressed to see it there. As a forest plant, it appreciates a steady supply of moisture and compost. And as an enthusiastic grower, you should give Bamboo room to expand, we suggest placing infant plants about 100cm apart.
