Product Description
An evergreen bamboo with strong yellow canes. Available from us in heights of up to 7 meters tall!

Golden Bamboo is a graceful-grower – it produces large clumps of slender green canes that turn to a bold yellow as they age. Its long finger-shaped leaves are a mix of yellow and green – colours that you can enjoy all year round, thanks to their evergreen quality. Golden Bamboo is extremely hardy against frost, but has little tolerance towards drought and so it may need to be watered during summer heatwaves.

Bamboo is one of the world’s fastest growing plant-types. Traditionally from Asia, its hardiness means it can actually be grown very easily in Britain – visitors to your garden will be surprised and impressed to see it there. As a forest plant, it appreciates a steady supply of moisture and compost. And as an enthusiastic grower, you should give Bamboo room to expand, we suggest placing infant plants about 100cm apart.
